The alternative to self-made wooden structures!

PSL - Petri's bulk storage system - is the ideal solution for those customers who have separate pellet storage space and are looking for an alternative to costly wooden structures made by carpenters. Even some such self-built wooden sloping floors have not sustained the first filling with pellets.
A professional sloping floor ensures trouble-free heating and complete emptying of the storage room.
The high-quality material used prevents any wear and tear and guarantees an extremely long life.
Compared to traditional wooden floor structures, PSL has less surface friction and therefore a better ability to slide the pellets. The accumulation of fine particles is prevented by the improved flow behaviour. The material properties of PSL allow the use of only 30° slopes. In timbered constructions, a slope of at least 45° is a must.
This increases the potential filling capacity, e.g. in a room of (L/W/H) 3 x 3 x 2 m from 6.1 tons of pellets to 8 tons of pellets – i.e. by 30%!
PSL consists of 5 basic modules, which differ depending on the width of the system due to the different structure of the uprights. Our sloping floor system can be adapted to every conceivable room length and is designed by default for a room width of up to 4.8 meters. The maximum filling height of the storage room should not exceed 3.5m.
These basic modules allow for perfect adaptation to the existing spatial conditions and thus ensure the best possible use of space and optimise the required storage volume.
Petri's bulk storage is compatible with all current suction and screw designs available in the market and therefore requires no separate pellet discharge. Many boiler manufacturers, heating engineers and installation companies are among our satisfied customers and partners.
