The advantages of Petri's bulk storage system at a glance!

  • PSL is the professional solution for those customers who have separate pellets storage space and are looking for an alternative to costly wooden structures made by carpenters.
  • The two-piece sloping floor in the longitudinal direction directs the pellets optimally for room holding, ensures trouble-free heating and optimized emptying of the storage room.
  • Our sloping floor system made of galvanized sheet steel is adapted completely and up to every cm of the storage room of our customers due to its modular design.
  • With flexible sliding, lateral balance plates, wall roughness of up to 6 cm widthwise can also be easily compensated.
  • The perfect adaptation to the existing spatial conditions ensures the best possible use of space and optimisation of the required storage volume.
  • The material properties of PSL allow the use of only 30° slopes. In timbered constructions, a slope of at least 45° is a must.
  • This increases the potential filling capacity, e.g. in a room of (L/W/H) 3 x 3 x 2 m from 6.1 tons of pellets to 8 tons of pellets – i.e. by 30%!
  • PSL is a self-supporting structure and the walls are hardly burdened. PSL has no structural problems!
  • The high-quality material used prevents any wear and tear, offers optimal rust protection and guarantees an extremely long life.
  • PSL is thus a stable, durable and moisture-proof solution and ensures the best possible quality resistance of the pellets.
  • Compared to traditional wooden floor structures, PSL has less surface friction and therefore a better ability to slide the pellets. The accumulation of fine particles is prevented by the improved flow behaviour.
  • Petri's bulk storage is compatible with all current suction and screw designs available in the market. Thus, additional interfaces and sources of error are avoided while discharging the pellets to the boiler.
  • PSL is prepared during manufacturing for the use of the respective feeding system by the corresponding central piece between the two slopes and/or by the pre-cut openings for the suction hoses.
  • The parts of the sloping plates can be interchanged. This allows the positions of the pre-cuts for the suction hoses to be adjusted flexibly to the structural conditions.
  • Petri's bulk storage is designed such that it can be retrofitted into existing spaces without masonry work, chiselling, drilling or welding.
  • The self-supporting steel structure is assembled free-standing between the walls and should only be attached to the floor.
  • Installation can be done easily by yourself using our proven step-by-step instructions with images and text and additional costs for an installation company can be avoided.
  • Each part is provided with a number on delivery so as to improve the clarity and assembly time.
